What a LEAP DAY!

What a day we had! It was beautiful here in the Texas Panhandle, little wind and 65 degrees!! We decided to join my mom's club at the park. So we packed up a picnic lunch and headed to the park. The kids played on the playground equipment, enjoyed lunch in the beautiful weather and fed the ducks, Cohen's favorite thing to do at the park! Addi loved being at the park, even though she couldn't play on the equipment and loved being outside! Her favorite thing was eating Cohen's mini Pringles and watching all the people, of course!! Now that she has been eating more and more solid food, she is LOVING food! One thing she didn't like was.....the ducks. She wasn't too sure of them and didn't like them being so close to her stroller. They really weren't that close to her, but the look on her face told me she thought they were!! She didn't take her eyes off of them for a second! On our way home, we stopped by the drive through car wash for a much needed wash. Another one of Cohen's favorite things to do, he is always "in ahhh" by the car wash. Isn't it funny how amazed kids are at the simple things?? Maybe we, adults, should slow down and enjoy the simple things in lives, especially our children!!
